PPM and YUJIN have signed a contract to develop the market for autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for nursing homes. This represents the first nursing home robot concept, based upon high performance, reliable and safe industrial technology.

The concept is based upon "one robot – multiple applications" use YUJIN's GoCard AMR as the basic mobile platform for logistics, services, entertainment, night watch application in the nursing homes. The GoCart represents a fully proven industrial technology, used among others, in Miele's factory in Germany.

The GoCart offer the high, PLd, safety level, providing the required safety performance for nursing homes.

Living lab tests in nursing homes demonstrated a full acceptance of the concept both by the residents, the employees and the relatives, thanks to the GoCart's nice, neutral design.  

With this, modern nursing homes can take advantage of new, robot-based services, providing reliable services, almost "24/7".
