INGUNN / How it works

Simple daily operation

INGUNN is built for routine logistics tasks in nursing homes — from loading and destination selection to scheduled, autonomous transport.

Staff do not need robotics expertise to use the it. The robot is configured for selected tasks in the nursing home, and finds automatically the way to the destinations.

The goal is a predictable workflow that fits naturally into daily work distribution in the nursing home.

1 Prepare the task

Staff load the robot

Staff place laundry, waste, supplies or other materials in the robot’s container or transport module. Alternatively, this can be done automatically by a small, automatic hook, attached to the wall.

The task starts where the need occurs, helping reduce unnecessary walking.

2 Select the destination

Simple interface for staff

The task can be started from the robot interface, a mobile interface or automatically, according to a predefined schedule.

The robot is designed for busy nursing homes, where operation must be easy and efficient.

3 Autonomous transport

INGUNN navigates point-to-point

INGUNN navigates using a map of the nursing home. It moves between predefined destinations, opens doors, avoids obstacles, and automatically selects the best route to its destination.

Predictable motion helps staff, residents and visitors understand where the robot is going.

4 Multi-floor logistics

Configured for elevators

INGUNN handles floor-to-floor logistics autonomously, including automatic elevator operation.

This makes it possible to connect resident areas, storage rooms, service rooms and departments across floors.

5 Arrival

Arrival and unloading

The robot arrives at the destination and notifies staff or waits for unloading.

INGUNN supports automatic handover at the destination.

6 Return or recharge

Ready for the next task

INGUNN can automatically continue to the next task, or return to the charging station.

The goal is reliable availability throughout the day, with minimal disruption to staff routines.

Built for non-technical users

You should not need to be an expert to operate a nursing home robot.

INGUNN is designed for simple use, predictable behavior and reliable task accomplishment.
